Students need dignified access to food. The Care Cupboards allow children to choose foods they need for themselves and their families to take home. We work with Communities in Schools of Peninsula, school counselors, and other school staff so that kids can discreetly pack their own backpacks. Last school year, we provided over 19,000 pounds of snacks and easy meal items for kids to access at school.
